Strand squatters fell violently ill from eating rotting food from rubbish dump and now ‘the white man must pay’…
January 13 2011 – Strand, Western Cape. Vile anti-white hatespeech was vented at a communist-party ANC meeting of 300 squatter-camp residents from Lwandle and Pholile who vowed that ‘the white man must pay’ for their studipity in eating from vile-smelling, rotten food at a nearby rubbish tip which had made 100 of them violently ill with but had otherwise left no lasting damage.
Food-poisoning outbreak after eating from smelly, rotting, dumped food blamed on ‘racism’ and ‘the white man’…
Western Cape journalist Luvuo Mjekula reported that the local ANC/Communist Party leadership had held a meeting with some 300 residents from Lwandle and Philile squatter camp near Strand — and turned it into an anti-white shouting match, with the local ANC ward councillor Xolani Sotashe reportedly accusing the Democratic-Alliance-run region’s officials of ‘racism’ after the dramatic outbreak of food poisoning amongst some 100 residents after they had dug up rotting, discarded food from a dump nearby and became violently ill.
Wrote Mjekula: ‘ residents vented their fury and have decided to take legal action against a Strand businessman”; and whose driver had apparently dumped the crates of vile-smelling, rotting food illegally on the rubbish tip near their settlements.
“The white man must pay the people he hurt and he must close down his business,” the journalist quoted one resident as saying at the packed community hall. Sotashe undertook to ‘consult lawyers and seek advice before filing a complaint at the police station’ against the ‘white man’ who owns Simple Value Factory Foods and whose driver apparently had dumped the crates of rotting food illegally.
“We could have died’, the residents were quoted as saying. One resident said “a child had picked up diabetes tablets thinking they were sweets, but could not open the container”. Others said it was a “sick political game” before local government elections,’ reported Mjekula.
And it’s clearly all about politics: the Democratic-Alliance run City of Cape Town was specifically targetted by the community’s ward councillor Xolani Sotashe – who said it was ‘shocking that Mayor Dan Plato, Premier Helen Zille and Social Development MEC Patricia de Lille had not set foot in Pholile since the food-poisoning outbreak’. He slammed them for being ‘racist’ because only the tainted food was collected by the city’s disaster management officials. Attended by ANC and SACP leaders, the meeting was concluded the same way it was opened, with a prayer. Sotashe told residents “he and other leaders would consult lawyers today and seek advice before filing a complaint at the police station”. Legal steps could include a civil law suit against the factory owner. – Cape Times http://www.capeargus.co.za/white-man-must-pay-1.1011522
